Curved entrance walls in Aston Ingham
Aston Ingham, Herefordshire
Curved entrance walls in Forest of Dean grey green pennant stone and lime, built to match the house.
Built on trench blocks, with the lower section backfilled with soil, and finished with slate copings. A curved wall is stronger than a straight one against wind and shifting soil, as the curve spreads the load.
