Georgian house restoration in Forest of Dean
Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire
A Georgian house whose front fell in when the inside was cleared, rebuilt and restored in lime.
About 80% of the front elevation had collapsed. The door and window openings were redesigned and rebuilt to the architect's plans, and unsafe walls inside were taken out, including some carrying the new roof.
All the outside stonework is laid and pointed in lime, with the stone left showing all round.
